Around 400 Chabad Rabbis and Rebbitzens from ten countries, attended a Chabad on Campus convention in Stamford, Connecticut.

Over four days they networked, studied, attended lectures, shared and mentored. "The Kinus represents the excellence the campus Shluchim and Shluchos bring," said Rabbi Yossy Gordon, CEO of Chabad on Campus International. "They are on campuses, giving it their all to reach one more student and encourage a commitment to Jewish Identity."

With heightened awareness of threats to the safety of religious institutions, there was a focus on safety and security. Participants received active shooter training as well as CPR certification and 'Stop the Bleed' training. Chabad on Campus International's security consultant met with each couple to review their security protocols.

The children were not left out either. Babysitting programs and a day camp provided activities and day trips for 500 children.

For some of these kids, from Jewishly-remote locations, this is one of the few times a year they get to hang out with their peers.

There are full service Chabad Jewish student centers on 256 campuses around the world and hundreds more receive Jewish resources from their local Chabad. The annual convention is a chance for the couples who have made it their mission to service Jewish students with their Jewish needs at their place of study, to network and support each other.
