Photos: Operation Message in A Matzah For US Army Troops Abroad

(lubavitch.com/lns) US Army Sgt. Paul Davis of New York and Sgt. Lewis Salboa of the Dominican Republic greeted some 600 yeshiva day school students Wednesday morning at the Jewish Children's Museum at Chabad- Lubavitch Headquarters in Brooklyn.

Also there to greet the children were members of Captain Andrew Shulman's family from Massachusetts. Captain Shulman is currently deployed in Iraq.

Operation: Message in a Matzah, a joint project with the Aleph Institute, gave children the opportunity to learn about Passover while making their own matzah and writing personalized messages to US troops abroad. The hands-on activity is part of the Model Matzah Factory at the JCM, which runs through April 13, 2008.
