Bulgarian PM Visits Jerusalem Western Wall

(lubavitch.com) Prime Minster Boiko Borissov of Bulgaria, ended a two day visit to Israel where he met with Israeli Prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu and President Shimon Peres. 

The Prime Minister was accompanied by Israel’s Ambassador to Bulgaria, Noach Gandler, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov, and Defense Minister Nikolai Mladenov.

The visit was arranged by Ambassador Noach Gandler. It is the first visit of a Bulgarian Prime Minster to Israel in eighteen years.

The Prime Minister visited Yad Vashem, The Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Authority, and the Western Wall in Jerusalem.

Chabad representative to Bulgira, Rabbi Yosef Solomon, joined Mr. Borissove at his visit to the Western Wall. Solomon's relationship with the Prime Minsster began when Mr. Borissov was mayor of Sofia. "The Prime Minister has always been a good friend of the Jewish people and a friend of Israel," Rabbi Solomon told lubavitch.com.
