Bikers Take To The Lulav

NEW CASTLE, DELAWARE

Jewish bikers identifying as The Tribe Motorcycle Club (DC), Chai Riders (NY), Hillel’s Angels (NJ), The Stars of Davidson, King David Bikers (FL)
and the S.O.B’sSemites on Bikes (MD) all met at the largest Harley
dealership on the east coast – Mikes’ Famous Harley in New Castle, Delaware, yesterday. Rabbi Chuni Vogel of Chabad of Wilmington, Delaware brought a Sukkah, helped each biker observe the mitzvah by taking the lulav and etrog. Every biker then had something to eat in the Sukkah.

“For some it was the first time in decades that they did this,” says Rabbi Vogel.
