Chabad-Lubavitch Rabbi To Teach at Russia’s Military University

Moscow, Russia

With the FJC's pervasive reach through its network of schools and educational programs extending throughout the former Soviet Union, the organization—the largest Jewish organization in Russia—is now looking to address other segments of the country's Jewish population.

The Military Branch of the FJC under the direction of Chabad Rabbi Aaron Gurevitch has recently launched a new program to target Jewish youth who have chosen to pursue a career in the military.

The program will offer a series of lectures on Jewish lifestyle and national traditions at the Military University.

Students completing the full course of lectures will be given the opportunity to visit Israel, reported the FJC.
