Rabbi Sholom Ciment, Director of Chabad-Lubavitch of Greater Boynton, announced today the installation of Rabbi and Mrs. Bentzion and Chaya M. Singer as the new official representatives of Chabad-Lubavitch to West Lake Worth.
Rabbi and Mrs. Singer are working with a committee to determine the ideal location for a satellite Chabad center that will serve as the hub of Jewish activities in the northwest region of West Lake Worth.
According to Rabbi Ciment, residents can anticipate the full gamut of Chabad community programming including the Friendship Circle, Day Camps, Smile On Seniors, Lunch ‘n’ Learn and more.
With West Boynton and East Boynton completing their development of residential communities and commercial centers, Chabad of Boynton is recruiting additional couples to add to its staff of representatives, said Rabbi Ciment.
Chabad of Boynton Beach recently celebrated its Bar Mitzvah year. As reported on Lubavitch.com, guests at the gala event in January were greeted with announcements of a $10 million expansion for Chabad – Lubavitch of Greater Boynton’s main center on El Clair Ranch Road.
"Architectural designs have been approved, the 55,000 square foot regal community center on its six acres of centrally located land," is underway, said Mr. Alan Zavodnick, member of Chabad's Executive Board, in charge of managing the project.
Rabbi Singer pledged to “continue to keep Chabad's remarkable pace of accomplishments on track and to respond to the community's needs in an all-encompassing manner, so that no man, woman, or child will be left behind."
