Diaspora Jewry Unites For Israel

STATEMENT BY CHABAD-LUBAVITCH HEADQUARTERS

How can we fathom the savage slaughter of our brothers and sisters–the men, women and children brutally murdered in their homes, and on the streets of Israel?

We mourn this catastrophe. Our hearts break for the hundreds of violated, kidnapped and wounded. We pray for them.

We pray for the definitive, resounding and swift success of the Israel Defense Forces and for the safety of its soldiers and the people of Israel.

In the diaspora, Jews are flocking to Chabad centers and local synagogues to rally behind their brothers and sisters. No matter their religious affiliation, no matter their political persuasion, they come united in a desire to support the people of Israel and are asking how can we make a difference?

Let us harness these spiritual energies in solidarity with our brethren in Israel.

Please contact your local Chabad Center for more information on how you can participate in prayer, Torah study and mitzvahs.

We are confident that Israel will prevail.
