Friendship Circle Walkathon: Going That Extra Mile for That Special Child

West Bloomfield, MI

The Friendship Circle of West Bloomfield, announced its second annual Walk4Friendship in West Bloomfield, Michigan, to take place Sunday, September 9.

Beloved by communities across the country with Friendship Circle chapters, this non-profit program created by Chabad of West Bloomfield has successfully created a grassroots awareness of families struggling to cope with the challenges of a special needs child.

The program fosters community compassion and activism, where local teenagers become reliable volunteers dedicating time to working with special needs children in creative and productive ways, while providing their families with a much cherished reprieve.

The Walk4Friendship Walkathon will begin at 1:00 p.m.  the JCC Applebaum Campus and end at the FC Meer Family Friendship Center. To learn more about the Walkathon and the Friendship circle, click here.
