At a local event discussing racism and what can be done about it, Mendy Sapochkinsky, son of Rabbi Yitzchak Sapochkinsky of Chabad of Westlake Village, shared the following vignette from his childhood.

While the fear of coronavirus kept people apart, the love and comradery of Chabad of the Five Towns Smile on Seniors brought them together.

The Rebbe represents the all-too-rare ability to focus on others and motivate them to be the best neshama they can possibly be.

The organization is mobilizing its statewide synagogues and outposts, and tapping government programs, to provide at least 500 breakfasts and lunches daily next week.
