recently visited Kishinev, the capital of Moldova. From the very start, it was clear to me that it was worthwhile to inquire about prayers and kosher food at the Chabad House. Over time, I began to appreciate more and more how significant the Chabad House in Kishinev and Moldova is.

Holmdel history was made on Sunday January 20th, when over 75 parents and children gathered together in the Holmdel community Center for Holmdel’s First Ever Kids Mega Challah Bake. The event was a huge success, and kids and parents are already looking forward to next year’s Kids Mega Challah Bake. “We had such a great time at the Challah bake” said Yael Menkin, a Chabad of Holmdel Hebrew School mom. “My daughter and her friends had the best time and keep asking how soon we can do it again!”

98-Year-Old Holocaust Survivor To Speak In North Bay

The Chabad Jewish Center of Petaluma will welcome Marthe Cohn, a 98-year-old Holocaust survivor with a past-life as a Holocaust survivor and World War II spy, as a guest speaker on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m. at Santa Rosa Junior College Petaluma in an event open to the community.

At Chabad, it’s about creating a home-like Jewish environment for students where they can celebrate Shabbat and Jewish holidays, observe traditions, meet new people and express their Jewish pride.
