In the 1950s the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson began sending rabbis and their families to communities around the world to bolster Jewish life there. Photos by Shimi Kutner

Since then more than 4,000 emissaries, known as shluchim are serving communities in 81 countries, on every continent. For shluchim in more remote locations, the annual conference is an opportunity to connect with their friends and colleagues. Photos by Shimi Kutner

For their children, a special Camp for Young Shluchim runs alongside the conference. 770 boys are expected to join as they connect and socialize with peers who are their contemporaries in the world of Chabad outreach. Photos by Shimi Kutner

In 2013 Chabad on Campus was born to address the Jewish needs of students during their college careers. Chabad on Campus now serves 400 campuses internationally, with 200 permanent centers established on campus. Photos by Shimi Kutner

Chabad Young Professionals was established the same year to service Jewish Young Professionals. There are 92 CYP chapters globally.
