Always a children's spectacular, it's especially grand when Lag B'Omer falls on a Sunday, as it did this year. Around the world, Jewish communities participated in Chabad sponsored parades, carnivals and street fairs to commemorate the yahrzeit of Rabbi Shimon ben Yochai (2nd century c.e.), author of the Zohar (the primary text of Kabbalah) one of the sages of the Mishna.

Here are some images of Lag B'Omer around the world.
