Chabad School in Kiev Burns

Kiev, Ukraine

Arsonists set fire to a Chabad school in Kiev on Wednesday evening. Entire sections of the the Simcha School were torched, reported Rabbi Mordechai Levenhartz, who worked with firefighters as they tried to put out the flames.

The school’s 600 students, from nursery through grade 11, were away at the time of the fire and no one was injured. Local residents say the fire was started by youths who hurled rocks and anti-Semitic notes through the school windows last week.
