MINNEAPOLIS, MN -- (May 11, 2008)

Among Americans celebrating Israel’s Independence Day last Wednesday, 5,000 of Minnesota’s Jews turned out for an Israel fair at the Metrodome, downtown Minneapolis.

Amid stands of all things Israeli, was a Chabad-Lubavitch booth, where Director of Chabad-Lubavitch of the Upper Midwest, Rabbi Moshe Feller, exchanged greeting with Minnesota’s Governor Tim Pawlenty.

Rabbi Feller and other local Chabad-Lubavitch Shluchim and rabbinical students took the time to invite hundreds to do a mitzvah in recognition of the miracles of 1948.

Rabbi Feller also used the opportunity to speak to the Governor about the Noahide Laws.
