Utah Governor Huntsman Returns From Trade Mission to Israel

(lubavitch.com) Accompanying  Utah’s Governor Jon M. Huntsman on his state's  Trade Mission to Israel (May 11-14) was Rabbi Benny Zippel, Director of Chabad Lubavitch of Utah.

"It was an amazing experience," said Rabbi Zippel, of the Governor's first visit to Israel. Among other places in Israel on the Utah delegation's itinerary was the Netafim Drip Irrigation Plant at Kibbutz Chatzerim, BrightSource Energy at Rotem Industries Park, and Jerusalem’s Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum where Governor Huntsman laid a wreath in memory of the Jews murdered by the Nazis.

The Delegation was received at the President’s Residence  by Israel’s President Shimon Peres. At Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Foreign Minister and former Israeli Ambassador to the U.S.,  Daniel Ayalon met the delegation, as did Yosi Gal, Director General, Baruch Binah, Deputy Director General, Head of North American Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Attorney General Mark Shurtleff who was part of the delegation, took a walking tour through the old city of Jerusalem, prayed at the Western Wall where he also wrapped tefillin with delegation members and walked through the Tunnels beneath the Temple Mount.
