(lubavitch.com) A 9-foot menorah has been stolen from the village green of Key Biscayne, Florida. The Chanukah icon, erected by the Chabad Key Biscayne Jewish Center, has been lit here for the past decade.

“We are not going to let this stop us,” insisted Rabbi Yoel Caroline of Chabad. “We will be lighting the menorah every night of Chanukah here in the Village Green."

As they scurry to erect a replacement, local officials are promising residents that they will do whatever they can to locate and prosecute the perpetrator. For their part, residents are convinced that the person responsible for the crime is not from their area.
