Mrs. Zlata Geisinsky, Chabad Representative, Age 49

Chabad-Lubavitch representatives, the Chabad-Lubavitch community, and the Jewish communities of Bethesda and Chevy Chase, MD, mourn the sudden passing of Mrs. Zlata Geisinsky, at the age of 49, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Geisinsky was Chabad representative to Bethesda and Chevy Chase, together with her husband, Rabbi Benzion Geisinsky. The couple raised their family there, and developed a host of educational and social programs.

She was the daughter of Rabbi Yehoshua Dubrawsky, the prolific Yiddish writer, who passed away this past May.

Mrs. Geisinsky is survived by her husband Benzion Geisinsky, and children Aidie Shusterman (Beverly Hills, CA) Sender Geisinsky (Bethesda, MD) Rochie Charytan (MD) Mushky, Mendy and Moishe Geisinsky.

She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Asya Dubrawsky, and siblings Sara Gurewitz, Lyons, FR; Fitche Dubrawsky, Curitiba, Brazil; Lipa Dubrawsky, Vancouver, BC; Mendel Dubrawsky, Dallas, TX; Mira Labkowsky, LA, CA; and Chana Katzman, Staten Island, NY.
