Chabad Opens New, First Mikvah in Seine-et-Marne, France

(lubavitch.com) After years without a mikvah, Chabad of Seine-et-Marne in the Île-de-France region, close to the international EuroDisney amusement park, has inaugurated an elegant state-of-the-art ritual bath. Rabbi Yossi Amar of  Chabad of Seine-et-Marne, France, inaugurated the elegant state-of-the-art mikvah earlier this week.

Some 150 people from the local Jewish community attended the opening on Monday, together with Shluchim from the area.

The mikvah’s founders, Rabbi Yossi Amar and his wife Tsalcha Amar have garnered rave reviews for the building’s design and decor.

The mikvah was constructed under the guidance of renowned expert Rabbi Gershon Grossbaum, and the London Dayan Rabbi Levi Raskin.
