The 9th annual National Jewish Retreat, this year at the luxurious Palmer House Hilton in Chicago, drew 1000 guests. Organized by JLI, the Jewish Learning Institute, it delivered five days of lectures and entertainment by scholars and artists across a rich variety of Jewish disciplines. This year’s retreat also included medical and legal conferences that qualified for continuing education credits.
