Growth Marked at Tel Aviv Conference

By , Tel Aviv, Israel

Chabad representatives to Tel Aviv convened last week for a regional conference. A vibrant city populated by the young and restless, it is home to the country’s largest shopping mall and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

It is also second only to Jerusalem in the number of Chabad Centers serving its residents, counting 50 representatives. In the past decade 15 Chabad centers were established in the city, and another one is set to open soon in the southern part of the city.

This Chanukah, Tel Avivians will see the number of public menorah lightings double, from 90 to 180, illuminating the “city that never stops” with the lights of Jewish unity.
