Just in time for Passover, Moscow recently inaugurated its newest center in conjunction with the “Yad Le’yad” charitable organization. Established and run by Mrs. Perry Deitch, the center houses a large store of second-hand furniture and clothing, enabling those in need to shop for their holiday needs with dignity.

Most of the clothing and furniture was donated, with the rest surplus from various businesses and factories.

Russia’s Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar affixed the mezuzah on the entrance.

The inauguration event was held at the Sharei Tzedek Charity Center where Passover provisions were in distribution. The new center is one of many that provide Moscow's needy Jewish residents with their comprehensive Passover provisions.
